Alex Rowan is a British landscape and wildlife photographer whose field practice begins with observation. These walks share practical ways to work with natural light while giving wildlife the space it needs.

Before we set out
Routes may change to protect habitats or respond to weather. Safety and responsible observation always come first.
No. A smartphone, compact camera or interchangeable-lens camera is welcome. The focus is observation and visual decisions.
Light rain often creates beautiful conditions. Unsafe wind, flooding, heat or access restrictions may require a change of route or date.
Young photographers aged 12 and over may join with a responsible adult. Please mention accessibility needs in advance by phone.
Groups are kept small, usually no more than eight people, to reduce disturbance and support thoughtful learning.
